Tillandsia pruinosa also bears the witty name Fuzzywuzzy airplant, which is probably inspired by its winding, flared and silver-grey scaly leaves. The fuzzy looking little guy grows best when they are tied to a piece of wood or a stone. In anticipation of flowering, the bulb of the Pruinosa blushes a bright pink and then sprouts soft purple flowers.
